ESPECIALLY FOR SPM LEAVERS

Bismillahirahmanirahim.

Hi Everyone! You must be colluding with yourself back and forth wondering wether you should start with Diploma / Foundation / Matrix / Form 6 and etc

So here is a few suggestion:

Diploma - is a very relaxing, lazy and the least difficult path to pursue. As this path takes you around 2 - 3 years to finish when you can finish it within less than a year. However, this is the best path for whom ever that is searching for a long break after SPM. Personally I think it's a waste of time. However as time unfolds, I realise that being a student is a lot more fun than surviving the animal world out there. (The Job Hunt I mean! Scary duh!)

There are a lot of great Universities and Colleges out there who is providing great course for diploma. You can find a variety of them and some were unheard of either! But hear me out, beware of these unheard once. They might sound great and all, but they might not be an official course yet. So be careful in choosing yours truly.

Foundation - is a very tiring, quick, harder than diploma. This path takes you around 1 year to complete and it is also directly focuses on your desire goal/ dream! If you want to become an accountant, you can take Foundation in Accountancy. If you have heard of ACCA, Foundation is just about the same as the 1st level of ACCA, which is called as CAT. (I will continue more below). As this path is more faster and tiring, I highly suggested for those highly achievers to average students to take this instead (10A - 5A) P.S : I'm not saying those with lower grades should stick to Diploma or etc, but in the end it comes down to your ability to comprehend everything in the limited time. Believe me, as a high achiever student, I also felt like throwing up learning everything so quickly. So do what you think you can do okay. Slowly but surely.

Matrix - Another tiring, waste of time, and not much different with Foundation. Personally, this is for those who still haven't figure out what their dream goal is about. So instead of taking something you dream of (Accountancy, Engineering .. etc) you retake all the subjects that you took in SPM (Not entirely the same and it is a lot harder but can become wasteful if you don't actually need them in the future) So, if you still haven't figure out what path to choose, say Hello to Matrix. Matrix is here to help!

Form 6 - As boring as it sounds, this path is actually better than Matrix or Foundation! Why? If you try searching for a scholarship or loan for degree level, you can see that they welcome the Form 6 leavers better than Matrix and Foundation leavers! I don't know why but I heard that Form 6 is a lot harder than Matrix and Foundation, so that might be the reason.  Again, be careful with what you choose for. Form 6 is like your 2nd chance you can get after SPM.

And there are others too. For example;

Short course - Around 6 months - 1 year! Usually it focuses directly with what you want to become already. Like bakers, nurse... they have this short courses with an official certificate given out to students who managed to complete it! I think this is a good way for those who doesn't want to actually study but focus more on skills based type of work.

And lastly the PROFESSIONAL PAPERS!

Okay, the reason why I highlighted this is because I am one of the student who take this rough, petty, tiring, so damn fast route. but I'm sure this paper will help me a lot in the future. So what are these professional papers? They are just about the same with Foundation level, but when you go out later to pursue your dream, you will be known as a SPECIALIST in your field! Taking you to another level and differs you from your competitors. So, if you have the money and the ability to comprehend things very fast, do take this route. It may be tiring, and you might feel like quitting in the middle of the journey, but believe me, it is all worth it! JUST KEEP HOLDING ON! and you will see the other side of the rainbow together with me.

Alhamdullilah, so that's it! Have you guys decide on which path you want to take? Do leave me comments so I get to know my viewers more!
